User Account Creation
The procedure of creating a new user account is as follows;
Creating A Developer User Account
Navigate to the top menu bar of the ELMIS Home Page, locate the “Create User Account” tab, and click on it.
A data entry form will appear. Click the drop-down menu on the “Developer Type” field to indicate whether you are “Individual” or “Non-Individual”. Thereafter, click the drop-down menu on “Type of Nationality” to indicate whether you are “Ugandan” or “Foreigner”.
Fill in the required information as per defined on the form following the above selections. Please note that some fields are optional, while others are mandatory.
Preview the information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Thereafter.
a) Click “Continue to edit” button to edit any field, AND/OR
b) Click the “Submit” button to save and submit the captured details.
Upon submission, ELMIS sends the system credentials to the Developer’s email address.
The Developer’s account on ELMIS will automatically be activated upon submission.
Creating a Staff User/Lead Agency Account
Staff User/ Lead Agency Accounts are created on the ELMIS by System Administrators following the steps below;
Click on “Login to your Account” in the top right-hand corner of the Home Page and use the System Administrator’s credentials (Username & Password) to Login.
From the header section, select “Settings” and click on the “Users”.
Click on the “New User Account”. A data entry form will appear.
3.1. Under the "Account Type", select Staff for Staff Account Creation.
3.1.1. Assign an appropriate user role and fill in all the required information.
3.2. Under the "Account Type", select Lead Agency for Lead Agency Account Creation.
Preview the information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Thereafter.
a) Click “Continue to edit” button to edit any field, AND/OR
b) Click the “Submit” button to save and submit the captured details.
Upon submission, ELMIS sends the system credentials to the applicant’s email address.
The system account will automatically be activated upon submission.
